This project consisted of the construction of a 3 storey extension to an existing live nursing home in Ballybrack South County Dublin. The nursing home is located within a very tight residential estate. The extension was completed in phases with the first phase consisting of the formation of the extension to include 18 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, recreational areas for the residents, dining areas, and the installation and fit-out of a commercial kitchen. All areas conform to disability access requirements with wet rooms, lift access, and access ramps installed throughout the ex- tension.
The second phase saw the demolition of a single storey flat roof extension and subsequent formation of a link conservatory to the existing home. The final phase involved the strip out and refurbishment of the existing nursing home.
