This project involved the construction of a two storey extension containing 31 bedrooms all en-suite, and all ancillary accommodation to provide a modern, spacious and relaxed building for the residents of the nursing home. The works took place to the rear of the live home and works were then completed to adjoin the existing nursing home to the new extension once complete. Some minor internal refurbishment works to the existing home were then carried out in phases so as to ensure minimum disruption to the normal operation of the home. A separate construction of a single storey extension to the existing laundry building, construction of a new waste water treatment plant and surface water systems also formed part of this contract.
