This projects consisted of the fit-out of an existing shell and core area within the existing Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown with the formation of a new 7 bay public area, 2 seated bays, and 1 private bay with en-suite facilities. Some of the works included the formation of a new concrete floor slab, new drainage connections, a large quantity of mechanical and electrical installations that had to tie in to the existing services, bed head trunking installation to provide medical gas services, nursecall system installation, and other essential patient services to all bed locations. Other works included the formation of internal partitions, suspended ceilings, floor finishes, installation of fitted furniture, and all associated decoration works.
