This project at 70 Grafton Street involved the complete stripping out of the existing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the building.
An extension was constructed to the existing 4th floor and then the entire floor areas were constructed / fitted out to form 16 number self-catering short stay holiday let hotel rooms with all ancillary services and public congregation spaces. While this project is not retail specific, it was undertaken on one of Dublins busiest retail streets, beside a live bank branch, and adjacent the Westbury Hotel which was occupied and live throughout.
The Townlink project management team developed strict noise, dust, waste management, and traffic management plans to ensure the access to the building was controlled to out-of-hours access on to Grafton Street. All noisy works were also carefully monitored to ensure no disruption to the existing neighboring buildings.
