Townlink were successfully awarded the alteration and refurbishment project of the Retail Store and enhancement of the Archive Area at the Guinness Storehouse. Having completed numerous projects within the Storehouse, Townlink had a very good understanding as to their requirements and a good working relationship to ensure minimal disruption was caused to the normal day to day operations of Dublin’s number one visitor attraction. As part of the Retail project, Townlink erected solid dust screen hoarding and stripped out the existing area. A new layout was formed and all new services were installed. A feature element of the new store was the large sweeping copper canopy above the till area. The project team then completed all new finishes throughout to include wall coverings, new graphics, floor coverings, and fitted furniture. Townlink had to carefully coordinate this project to ensure the strict programme requirements were met and the store opened as per schedule.
